Manchester Airport Group has announced plans to strengthen its position as the second largest airport operator in the UK by purchasing another airport through private investment.

Brazil’s national airport operator Infraero has officially opened the new $50 million Terminal 4 at São Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport.

Three separate private consortiums have won the concessions to operate and upgrade Brazil’s São Paulo–Guarulhos, Campinas–Viracopos and Brasilia airports in deals totalling $14.2 billion.
