Frankfurt and Copenhagen airports have both reported strong growth in passengers numbers during the first month of 2012, thanks to improved weather conditions and increased transfer traffic.

Frankfurt Airport handled more than 56 million passengers during 2011 – 6.5% more than a year earlier – as December alone saw a record of more than 4 million passengers use the gateway.

Fraport has teamed up with Deutsche Telekom to offer free 30-minute-long WI–FI sessions to passengers and visitors at Frankfurt Airport.
