Hydrock has been appointed as the civil and structural designer for the new west terminal extension at Bristol Airport in the UK, which will form part of the gateway’s multi-million euro expansion.
 

The extension of the west terminal is the first stage of a planned multi-million pound development over the next 10 years, which will include a second extension, an east terminal pier and walkway, a new hotel and a multi-storey car park.
 

When completed the developed airport is expected to be capable of handling 10 million passengers per annum.

Hydrock is working as part of a larger design team, which includes the architects McAlister Armstrong & Partners Ltd; building services firm Hulley and Kirkwood; and the quantity surveyors Ward Williams.
