Frankfurt Airport enjoyed its busiest ever month in July when a record breaking 5.5 million passengers passed through its facilities.
Worldwide passenger traffic was up by nearly 5% in June, compared with the same time last year, but high fuel prices and a struggling Japan continued to push down cargo activity.
