The process to concession airport infrastructure in Colombia is underway.
The country’s national infrastructure agency, ANI, has issued a tender for a feasibility study, as well as the technical, financial and legal structuring for the concession for five regional airports.
The five airports involved are Barranquilla's Ernesto Cortissoz international; Armenia's El Edén international; Neiva's Benito Salas Vargas; Popayán's Guillermo León Valencia; and Cartago's Santa Ana airports.
ANI replaced national concessions institute, Inco, last year as the official body in charge of concessions.
The deadline for proposals is December 4, and the winning bid will be announced on December 21.
The chosen company will have 16 months to complete the studies with a budget of $850,000.
