Sweet treats at Irish airports



The opening of new confectionary shops at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports by Irish TV chef, cook and author Rachel Allen has given passengers with a sweet tooth an extra incentive to visit the Emerald Isle....



The opening of new confectionary shops at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports by Irish TV chef, cook and author Rachel Allen has given passengers with a sweet tooth an extra incentive to visit the Emerald Isle.

Airport operator, DAA, claims that Allen’s The Loop outlets offer her own unique range of chocolate products ranging from Gorgeous Molten Caramel, Chocolate Crepe Suzette and Lovely Café Latte to Crunchy Crispy.

Gerry Crawford, DAA’s head of retail, says: “We are delighted to list Rachel’s new collection at The Loop. The products are fantastic and I am sure they will be a big hit with our customers.”

Little Sophie Azeri (pictured above with Rachel) certainly didn’t need to be asked twice when invited to taste some of chocolate treats on offer in The Loop at Dublin Airport this week.
