Qatar: Three-day trial at Hamad International Airport

The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and Qatar Airways are conducting a three-day trial run at the Hamad International Airport (HIA) ahead of its April launch, according to reports.

The trials were due to take place on two days this week and as well as on March 4.

The trial runs are being held to make sure that the $15.5 billion facility is ready for the opening.

According to reports, there will be a mock check-in and passengers will undergo all the normal procedures they are expected to go through before boarding a plane.
