Abu Dhabi unveils new high-fashion additions to retail offering

Abu Dhabi International Airport has unveiled a bigger and better Burberry boutique in Terminal 3 and announced plans for a new Emporio Armani outlet.

Now situated at the entrance to Duty Free in Terminal 3, Burberry, the iconic British luxury brand, has expanded its product offering of leather products and accessories to include, ready-to-wear garments and watches for the first time.

The 113sqm store has doubled its outlet space to meet consumer demand, making it the largest Burberry retail store found in an airport located in the Middle East.

Abu Dhabi Duty Free has also welcomed a 120sqm Emporio Armani boutique to its luxury retail mix, with the world renowned fashion brand opening its first store at the Capital’s airport.

The new boutique will open with the launch of the 2013 spring/summer collection, and offer a variety of products, with a focus on casual wear and accessories.

Emporio Armani and Burberry are amongst the many luxury and high-end brands introduced by Abu Dhabi Duty Free at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Airport operator, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), claims that the new facilities demonstrate its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction by continually evaluating the retail mix and ensuring that the brand mix meets passengers’ expectations.

ADAC's chief commercial officer, Mohammed Al Bulooki, says: “One of ADAC’s core objectives is to continuously invest in passenger amenities that enhance customer service, innovation and exclusivity within the Abu Dhabi Duty Free retail offer.

"The introduction of the Burberry and Emporio Armani boutiques further demonstrates ADAC’s commitment, through its concessionaires, to providing passengers with world-class facilities, a unique travel experience, and luxury shopping unparalleled in other airports.”
