GVK celebrates 7th anniversary at Mumbai airport

GVK has celebrated seven years since taking over operations at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) in Mumbai with a series of events.

On May 3, a group of children were given a tour of CSIA and then entertained with fairground attractions such as jugglers, clowns and stilt-walkers.

Passengers through the gateway were also treated to a red carpet experience and handed specially designed chocolate boxes.

A twitter competition – #FlightBuddy – rewarded passengers for quirky responses in naming their favourite flight buddy.

Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL), a joint venture between a GVK-led consortium and Airports Authority of India, won the mandate to modernise and expand Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) in May 2006.

GVK is an Indian conglomerate active across energy, resources, airports, transportation, hospitality and life sciences sectors.
