Nuance refines the essence of airport perfumes

The travel retailer has unveiled a boutique concept to give fragrance browsers “a super premium experience”.

Nuance’s duty free store at Antalya Airport’s T2 now features the first example of a deluxe fragrance boutique soon to be rolled out to airports in Geneva, Lisbon, Stockholm, St Petersburg and Zurich.

 

Alexander Anson, commercial director for Europe, said Nuance is responding to a upscale shift in the market.

“The deluxe fragrance market is a growing trend which we have identified, and our new premium boutique concept is designed to appeal specifically to those travellers who look for niche brands and a premium experience,” he said.

“The perfumes in this area truly are opulent and artisan, presenting prestigious lines and niche brands that our customers would expect to see.”

Perfume brands that will feature in Nuance’s new boutiques include Xerjoff, l’Artisan Parfumeur, Penhaligon’s, Rallet, Tiziana Terenzi, Bond N°9 and Tom Ford Private Blend.

Nuance operates an extensive portfolio of duty and tax-free stores, brand boutiques and concept stores, with about 72,000sqm of retail space in 64 locations in 19 countries and territories.
