Bengaluru to welcome Plaza Premium lounges

Plaza Premium Lounge will open two pay-in lounges and one day hotel at Bengaluru International Airport, raising its total operations in India from 10 to 13.

Echoing Bangalore’s reputation as ‘The Garden City’, the new lounges – designed by Mitchel Squires – offer great views, glass ceilings, lush greeneries and timber interiors.

Located in international departures and domestic departures, the lounges will cover 8,900sq ft and 8,000sq ft, respectively.

They will each offer food and beverages, comfortable seating, showers, a business centre, and a spa and massage parlour.

The 6,100sq ft Plaza Premium Lounge Day Hotel will be Bengaluru’s first day hotel. Located on the airport’s landside, it will feature fitted showers, beds, Wi-Fi, TV and intercom.

Song Hoi See, founder and CEO, commented: “Our goal is to make the airport experience a part of the travel experience that travellers look forward to, turning what is otherwise seen as stress and chaos into a pleasurable time.”
