The dynamic new Abu Dhabi Duty Free logo takes its inspiration from the architectural design of the new Midfield Terminal Building (MTB), scheduled to be completed in 2017.
The revitalized duty free brand aims to portray to business and leisure travellers ‘the spirit of Abu Dhabi’ and ‘the excitement of travel’.
Chief commercial officer of ADAC, Mohammed Al Bulooki, says the new identity highlights 30 years of evolution and promotes plans to move to the MTB.
He says: “Abu Dhabi Duty Free need to make sure that, whatever it designs and delivers, it will exceed passenger expectations.
“The new identity was developed in close collaboration and partnership with our concessionaires and represents Abu Dhabi Airports’ invitation to the world to experience one of the most exclusive airport retail and entertainment regions in the region.”
The new MTB will be the home of Abu Dhabi Duty Free from 2017 when it will provide 28,000 square metres of duty free shopping, dining, relaxing and entertainment.
