Swedavia who run the Swedish airport, says it is the first to offer the initiative, which will be located at its newsstand kiosk Meganews Magazines.
Passengers can choose from more than a hundred publications from periodical to print titles and pay the same price as in a regular shop using their credit card.
The service prints the magazine in less than two minutes and the climate-smart solution saves waste as no unwanted magazines are printed or transported.
Swedavia says it is seeing a growing demand for newspapers and magazines in paper format.
Roel Huinink, managing director of Arlanda Schiphol Development Company AB, who run retail, food and beverages at the airport, says: “We’re pleased to be the first airport in the world to launch a sustainable and innovative Meganews Magazines."
The service will be located by gate 12 in the international departure hall at Göteborg Landvetter until February 28.
