Excess Baggage Company to open second outlet at Heathrow's Terminal 5

Passengers travelling from London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 will soon have a new retail facility to use before their flights.

The Excess Baggage Company will open a second outlet in the landslide of the main councourse on the departures level.

It will offer a range of travel goods from leading brands includingRimowa, Delsey, Trunki, Carlton and others.

David Elliott, managing director of Excess Baggage Company, says: “We have been partnering with Heathrow for over 22 years, and in that time, we have become established as a leading player in luggage retail.

“We are delighted to be building our business at this world-leading airport.”

The company has also recently introduced a new bag-wrap facility at the airport’s Terminal 1. 

Sam Havard, senior retail manager at Heathrow, says: “As the leading name in baggage services, the Excess Baggage store will introduce the first paid bag weighing machine which provides great customer service to our passengers by providing airline specific information for their onward journeys.

“The luggage retail offer will also compliment the services available and provide an enhanced passenger experience.”
