State-of-the-art advertising products set for Birmingham Airport

New state-of-the-art advertising products are set to be put up at Birmingham Airport after a new contract was awarded.

The Midlands airport has given Peel Advertising, a seven-year contract to sell advertising, promotions and sponsorship opportunities.

The firm was assigned a six-month media contract by Clear Channel in June 2013, but has now been selected as Birmingham’s preferred partner from January 2014.

As part of the agreement new state-of-the-art products will be installed to optimize digital displays providing vibrant and flexible advertising platforms for brands wishing to access Birmingham’s growing leisure and business passenger audiences.

Peel Advertising is owned by The Peel who developed and operaed The Trafford Centre.

Martyn Lloyd, commercial director for Birmingham Airport, says: “As an expanding global airport we needed a partner that would help us realise our media potential whilst provided a turnkey service.

“Peel Advertising offered the right blend of commercial and customer service skills and we look forward to a successful media partnership.”

Jon Levenson, managing director of Peel Advertising, says the firm is ‘delighted’ to have been chosen as the airport's preferred media partner.
