Travel goods and luggage specialist Case Luggage is the latest retailer confirmed for the Queen’s Terminal and will sell premium brands for luggage, leather goods, travel accessories and travel gadgets.
Retailers bidding to open retail stores in T2, have been challenged by Heathrow to create a flexible retail offer through digital technology.
The Case store will feature a 'lighthouse' structure in the centre with full height LCD monitors that can be programmed to show synchronised and independent visuals to full effect.
Stephen Spitz, CEO and chairman of Case, says: “Our aim is to create a completely different kind of luggage store. The environment will be totally interactive and technologically advanced and will offer a wide range of luggage and travel accessories from many of the world’s top brands, including Tumi and Rimowa."
The first aircraft is scheduled to land at T2 at 5.55am on June 4, 2014. It is part of an £11 billion project to revamp Heathrow.
