ALSTEF awarded maintenance baggage contract at Paris-CDG

Aéroports de Paris (ADP) has awarded awarded a maintenance contract for the baggage handling system in Terminal 1 at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to ALSTEF.

The French firm has been given a six-year contract based on a performance commitment.

As part of the contract, ALSTEF will have a dedicated team of engineers, maintenance technicians and operators, with 24 hour, seven days a week assistance.

ADP says ALSTEF stood out from its competitors with its integrated management system that complies with the ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 Standards, and in regards to its commitment with regards to quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.

Currently there are 40 airlines operating from Paris-CDG, where 30,000 bags are processed each day, and ALSTEF already has teams based at other Paris-CDG terminals, for the maintenance of baggage sorting systems, at other airports in France and in other countries.
