The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago is issuing a Request for Proposals for the operation of its Executive Jet Centre (EJC).

The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago is issuing a Request for Proposals for the operation of its Executive Jet Centre (EJC).

The airport seeks proposals from qualified organisations with demonstrable experience to act as the operator of the EJC and the exclusive fixed based operator for transient general aviation aircraft at Piarco International Airport.

The facility, consisting of 781sqm of FBO terminal space and 68,454sqm of available ramp space, contains two VIP lounges and two commercial lounges capable of accommodating heads of state, government officials, business executives and high-net-worth individuals.

The EJC also has dedicated security, customs and immigration facilities with staff available full-time.

Trinidad and Tobago enjoys the Caribbean’s largest and most industrialized economy, and has a high degree of political, social and institutional stability that has fostered a favourable investment climate.

The continued strength of the local economy in Trinidad and Tobago can be expected to support the future growth potential of general aviation activity in the country.

A pre proposal meeting and tour of facilities is scheduled to take place at 10am on Tuesday March 29, 2011 at the Board Room, Airports Administration Centre, South Terminal of the Piarco International Airport.

Arrangements can be put in place for a teleconference for companies that are unable to send a representative to the meeting.

The deadline date for submission of Proposals is April 26, 2011.

The cost of purchasing a copy of the RFP is $500. Companies interested in obtaining a copy of the RFP, are asked to contact the airport authority's corporate secretary and request AATT’s wire transfer details.
