Renovated Plaza Premium Lounge opens at Abu Dhabi's Terminal 1

Abu Dhabi International Airport, in co-operation with Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited (PPLML) has opened its newly renovated Al Reem in Terminal 1.

The 4,500 square feet lounge the firm says is based on the concept of "providing comfort and convenience to travellers and aims to deliver an ambience of luxury while providing a home away from home".

Together with renowned designer Kinney Chan of KCA Associates, the PPLML team has introduced detailed touches to the airport lounge, highlighted by the Plaza Premium Lounge signature chandelier, which was designed about eight times the original size.

The lounge spans three floors and offers Arabic, Asian and continental cuisines made daily in the state-of-the-art kitchens, while free Wi-Fi and laptops upon request are available for those wanting to catch up on some work in between destinations.

A fully-serviced shower room is on hand with amenities to refresh between flights, and a variety of international TV channels are available for entertainment along with an extensive selection of international newspapers and magazines.
