Travelex to enter Poland with new store at Łódź

Travelex is set to enter Poland with the opening of a new store and a multi-currency ATM at Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport before the end of the year.

The move will see Travelex enter its 29th market and add to the thousands of stores it already has worldwide.

The foreign exchange expert says ot will work with their new airport partner to help increase footfall and boost revenue by providing trusted advice, value and convenience to travelling passengers.

Paul Brindley, Travelex’s global business development director, says: “We’re looking forward to opening our doors in Łódź airport prior to the Christmas rush.

“Our new shop and ATM will make it easier for passengers to spend whilst abroad but also make it easier for them to shop at the airport – which in turn could have a positive impact on the airport’s overall revenue.

“With five border crossings and a population of almost 40 million, Poland is an important growth market for us. We hope that our Łódź opening marks the beginning of great things to come.”

Passengers will be able to buy and sell a whole range of different currencies from within the store, which will be located in the departures hall, and the multi-currency ATM will be located in the arrivals baggage area.

Travelex is the world's largest foreign exchange specialist online in 21 markets and with 1,500 stores and 1,250 ATMs across 28 countries, at key airport, seaport, rail and tourist locations.
