The total figure was an increase in passenger numbers of 1% compared to the same month last year while international traffic rose by 4%, to 284,986, and domestic 128,479, a decrease of 5%.
So far this year, however, domestic traffic has increased by 4%, and from January to November, 1.2 million have travelled to, or from Landvetter, which is the highest figure ever for the period.
International traffic shows an increase during the first 11 months of 3% to 3,528,854, while a total of 4,795,048 people have travelled to, or from Gothenburg Landvetter so far this year.
Charlotte Ljunggren, airport director at Göteborg Landvetter, explains: “Our upward trend continues and all indications are that we will beat the record from last year.
“West Swedes need to travel abroad is strong and in November it is particularly London, drawing, where the number of trips increased by 16% during the month.”
The number of landings at the airport in November reached 2,509, an increase of 1% compared with the same month in 2013, and from January-November 28,332 aircraft landed, an increase of 1% compared with the figure in 2013.
The five top international destinations in terms of the number of passengers were London, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Helsinki.
