Between January 8-26, more than 30 venues across Sydney and Parramatta come alive with a diverse range of arts, theatre and musical performances in the popular event.
The festival has been running since 1977 and continues its legacy of celebrating the people of Sydney.
Sydney Airport CEO, Kerrie Mather, explains: "It’s an exciting time in Sydney during January and the Sydney Festival provides plenty of great opportunities for both tourists and locals to enjoy our wonderful city.
“Sydney Festival is a celebration of local and overseas talent drawing both local and international crowds to Sydney.
“From the Festival Village to the Riverside Theatre in Parramatta, there’s something for everyone with performances showcasing rap, dance, burlesque circus and indigenous art.
“We encourage everyone to experience the city’s transformation through one of the festival’s free or ticketed events.”
Sydney Festival head of development, Malcolm Moir, says: "Sydney Festival’s success relies on the ongoing support from both our government and Corporate Partners.
"We have enjoyed a successful partnership with Sydney Airport and look forward to continuing this in the future."
