New healthy F&B concession opens at Denver

Travellers at Denver International Airport have a new, healthy dining option with the opening of Colorado-based eatery Modmarket.

The 900sqft restaurant is located in the center of the B Concourse, and the menu has been compiled using simple, whole ingredients.

Modmarket offers a seasonally changing menu that includes farm-fresh salads, pizzas made with whole grain dough, scratch made soups, toasted sandwiches, classic homestyle plates, and breakfast entrees made with cage-free eggs and all-natural nitrate-free breakfast meats.

The F&B concessions also provides many gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options, and breaks down the nutritional content of meals on each receipt.

Airport CEO, Kim Day, explains: “Denver International Airport continues to cultivate an impressive selection of shopping and dining experiences, as we reimagine our concessions programme.

“Modmarket is a healthy local brand that will provide our travellers with another taste of the flourishing Denver food scene.”

The Denver location is the company’s ninth Colorado location, and it is operated by Tastes Denver LLC, a partnership between Tastes on the Fly and IRG, LLC, and the second Modmarket restaurant is expected to open on the C Concourse this Spring at Denver.

Modmarket co-founder, Anthony Pigliacampo, says: “We are very proud to offer airport travelers a healthy, fresh and fast meal option that will keep them fueled throughout their journey.

“Modmarket’s real food focus provides a simple, delicious, chef-driven menu that travelers the world over will enjoy and seek out each time they fly through Denver International Airport.”
