The retail concession has been opened in response to the ever-increasing consumer interest in beauty, high quality cosmetics products and an exceptional service.
Nuance will be presenting a state-of-the-art beauty store, which features exciting and innovative cosmetics brands; IOMA, Tom Ford Beauty and La Prairie.
Henrik Ottosson, Nuance’s head of category for P&C and food EMEA comments: “Together with the airport and our partners we are continuously exploring innovative ways to bring excitement to our passengers.
“The latest developments underpin our ambition to create beauty sparkle in the travel retail industry. This is once again an important launch underlining out commitment to add another degree of customer service and to upgrade the shopping experience at Geneva Airport.
“I would like to thank our brand partners, and Geneva Airport for their long-term support and commitment.”
Nuance says the shopping environment is enhanced with the sought-after beauty brands, and the beauty advisors help customers finding the products for their individual needs.
Inside the new luxurious shopping environment, a premium space is dedicated for each brand, and IOMA has introduced its advanced skin care technology to the travel retail industry for the first time in Geneva, and of particular interest to many will be the brand’s revolutionary skincare diagnosis device IOMA Sphere 2.
This unique technology analyses the individual skin type of the customer to create a tailor made skin care product in store.
The Tom Ford Beauty will be opening a new beauty counter carrying its covetable collection of cosmetics and fragrances, shaped with Tom Ford’s singular vision of modern glamour and infused with the utmost quality and craftsmanship.
The luxurious La Prairie boutique rounds out the offering, bringing forward an exquisite fusion of Swiss science, art and rare ingredients through a comprehensive range of premium skincare products for ageless beauty.
Laurent Marteau, head of Travel Retail Worldwide, La Prairie, states: “La Prairie is excited to expand its personalized boutique concept with Nuance & Dufry at the new luxury beauty store at the Geneva Airport.
“This boutique debuts following a successful partnership in the Zurich Airport, where a flagship boutique opened in August 2012.
“This new boutique in Geneva showcases La Prairie’s dedication to high-touch service in an inviting setting, offering a selection of facial treatments and personal consultations to its customers, so that the global consumer can experience the best in luxury, innovation and service.“
Geneva Airport handles more than 14.4 million passengers a year, and Nuance operates the main duty free and arrivals stores.
