Abu Dhabi Airports achieves accreditation first for UAE gateways

Abu Dhabi Airports today announced that it has successfully achieved ISO certification for the standard of information security across all of its IT systems.

The 27001:2013 certification distinguishes Abu Dhabi Airports as the first airport in the UAE to earn this prestigious accreditation.

The company also successfully re-certified its broader suite of IT services to the ISO/IEC 20000 level.

CEO, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, said: “This new achievement exemplifies Abu Dhabi Airports’ focus on innovation and commitment to embed best practices across our entire operations including the iconic and ambitious Midfield Terminal Building.”

Abu Dhabi Airports currently provides a wide range of IT services to more than a hundred customers operating at the airport.

Its services include office IT services, airport IT services, datacenter services and professional business services, which are provided within Abu Dhabi Airports’ campus.

“We take customer service very seriously and it is our commitment to provide our clients with the best possible services at the highest possible standards that drives our success," added Al Mazrouei.
