Record summer for Warsaw Chopin Airport

An all-time monthy high of 1.2 million passengers passed through Warsaw Chopin Airport in August 2015 to continue a record-breaking year for the Polish gateway.

The total represented a rise of 5.5% on the corresponding month a year ago and means that the airport welcomed 2.4 million passengers during the months of July and August.

"The summer peak season at Chopin Airport had another record finish," enthuses CEO, Michał Kaczmarzyk, who noted that the gateway was on track to handle more than 11 million passengers by the end of the year.

"The current numbers make us optimistic," he notes.
