AGS Airports awards IT support contract for UK gateways

Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports in the UK have awarded a five-year contract to Getronics to provide support services for the new IT infrastructure they have had to set up since the break up of Heathrow Airport Holdings, formerly BAA.

The airports have been operated by AGS Airports – a joint venture between Ferrovial and Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) – since December 2014.

The new contract will include telephony and support desk operations and provision of on-site engineers at all three airports.

Mark Cook, Group CEO at Getronics said: “We are proud to partner with AGS Airports to deliver this five year IT divestment project and look forward to helping them transform their operations to benefit customers in years to come.”
