Raleigh-Durham has become the latest gateway to open its own lounge for passengers prepared to pay a small fee.

Called 'The Club at RDU' WHERE `id` = its range of facilities include a business services centre boasting its own meeting room and free Wi-Fi.

All passengers can buy day passes to the lounge for $29.95, however The Club RDU is currently offering a special rate of $24.95 per day.

The new lounge is located opposite Gate A21 in Terminal 1, and passengers from Terminal 2 can access the club via airport courtesy shuttle buses. It is open daily from 5:30 am to 7 pm.

Teresa Damiano, director of marketing at Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority, says: “With the opening of The Club at RDU, customers have a reason to come to the airport early, make good use of their time for business or simply enjoy the amenities offered in the lounge.

“Instead of waiting at the gate for their flight to depart, travellers can use the Club’s business services center, relax in a quiet environment, or treat themselves to a travel perk and enjoy their trip before it starts.”

The Club also offers special programs for frequent flyers, corporations and group travel and accepts members of Priority Pass. Diners Club and The Club Card are also accepted.
