According to ATU, the new 140sqm store offers authentic Bodrum products as part of the cultural sustainability works.
The outlet boasts a wave type design and offers a combination of local products and a host of other items such as watches, jewellery, sunglasses and toys.
The 'authentic local products' sold in the store include clothing by the cotton textile brand, White by Nature – which it says highlights the traditional white houses in Bodrum – and Lalay brand hand loom towels and bathrobes.
Other popular local products such as Turkish delight and olive oil are also offered at the store, which aims to promote the best of Turkey and the region to the world.
In addition to the new concept store, ATU has also opened a 60sqm Desigual outlet. It says that the famous Spanish brand is admired for its patterns and colours.
ATU operates a total of five stores in total at Milas-Bodrum Airport, which handled 3.8 million passengers in 2015.
