Six new F&B outlets to open in Phoenix Sky Harbor's T3 this month

Six new restaurants are to open at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport this month courtesy of F&B operator, SSP America.

The outlets, all located in the airport's  John S McCain III Terminal 3 include a mix of local and chef-driven brands together with what it calls some "enormously popular, forward-thinking national brands".

SSP America began operations at PHX’s Terminal 4 in 2013 with a 10-year contract, which includes 18 unique, Phoenix area-based local businesses, backed by five national brands across 26 individual restaurants.

Its latest openings are part of the gateway’s $590 million Terminal 3 Modernization Program, set to enhance the customer experience for travellers by providing a more efficient way of getting through the terminal.
Scott Welding, SSP America's vice president of business development, commented, enthused: “We are proud to be opening our newest collection of award-winning restaurants featuring so many local culinary heroes.

"Sense of place, taste of place and commitment to the community combined with optimum choice for the passenger and exceptional customer service are the hallmarks of SSP America’s new contract with PHX.”

The openings include the  Original ChopShop (Post Security Lobby); Überrito Fresh Mex (Post Security Lobby); Tarbell’s Tavern (South Concourse); Christopher’s (South Concourse); The Habit Burger Grill (Post Security Lobby); and Peet’s Coffee (Ticketing).
