Birmingham Airport has granted a licence for meet and greet parking operator, Meteor, to trade from the airport site.

Roop Johal, the gateway’s market development manager – commercial, says: “We are delighted to make Meteor an official partner and we look forward to working closely with the team. Its parking services provide another excellent option for our passengers and further increases the onsite parking choice here at Birmingham.”

Meteor will boast a ‘drop and go’ facility outside the terminal where passengers can leave their vehicles with uniformed staff who will then drive them to a secure compound where they are parked for the duration of their trip. On return, a uniformed driver will be waiting at the terminal with their vehicle and will also be on hand to help load any heavy luggage.

Sarah Anglim, director of Meteor meet and greet parking, explains: “It is a great opportunity and we look forward to working closely with the airport to maximise the customer service that Birmingham Airport is well known for.”
