Staff working at The Paradies Shops at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport are among the happiest in US city, according to a local business journal.
For its outlets have been recognised as a 'Best place to work in the small business' category by the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Best Places to Work competition for the second year in a row.
Best Places to Work is based on the results of anonymous employee surveys, measuring work-force engagement and finding out how employees feel about management effectiveness, trust and other workplace issues. More than 100 firms were nominated to participate in the competition, which is now in its ninth year.
“At The Paradies Shops, we take tremendous pride in the company’s family culture and mission statement to exceed the expectations of the traveling public and the airports we serve,” said Gregg Paradies, president and CEO.
“Being recognised by the Cincinnati Business Courier as a “Best Place to Work” for two years in a row is an extraordinary achievement and I want to thank all our CVG team members for their commitment to award-winning customer service.”
“On behalf of CVG, I would like to congratulate the entire Paradies team on this well-deserved recognition,” said airport CEO, Candace McGraw.
