Travel retailer, Aldeasa, has remodelled and expanded its commercial area at Madrid-Barajas, transforming ‘The Shop’ and ‘Fashion & Fun’ into a 3,000sqm ‘Walk Through’ shop.
It promises that the new-look facility will offer tastings, cultural events and innovations such as ‘Brugal Island’ – a 37sqm area with its own permanent bar and bartender specialised in preparing mojitos – dedicated to showcasing Brugal rum.
Pedro Castro, Aldeasa’s director of national operations, enthuses: “The new Walk Through shop is a space that is open to new trends and the latest products and culture. It is an open area for open people in which the shopping experience is both comfortable and fun.”
Aldeasa manages close to 8,000sqm of commercial outlets in Terminal 4 at Madrid-Barajas Airport.
