World-renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson has joined forced with SSP to open a new Street Food restaurant at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. The restaurant is the second Street Food in Sweden and offers visitors fresh and wholesome street food from around the world.
“Opening the second Street Food restaurant at the airport is a natural development of the concept,” enthuses Samulesson. “An airport is the last stop before flying off to experience new and exciting cuisines. Therefore, it’s great to be able to offer passengers the chance to start their culinary voyage at the airport by visiting Street Food.”
Commenting on the new opening, Anne-Marie Zuidweg, managing director of Arlanda Schiphol Development Company AB says: “Street Food with its ‘glocal’ concept, where a range of food from across the globe is combined with local ingredients, fits perfectly at Sweden’s principal international airport. We think that with the introduction of this concept at Stockholm-Arlanda our business partner SSP contributes to the special and innovative character of this marketplace.”
