The much-anticipated privatisation of Spain’s Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona-El Prat airports makes top billing this week with the news that seven consortiums are bidding to operate the gateways.

Also making the headlines are ACI – which has announced its support for a third runway at Hong Kong International Airport – and Dublin following the announcement that it is to trial a full-body scanner.
